As you might expect, we've some sacred music tonight - five Palestrina Eastertide Offertories, selections from La Colombina's "Music For Good Friday" CD - but also offerings from the secular world, including Eric Bibb (see video), Irish guitarist Louis Stewart, Carly Simon's re-invention of her own "You're So Vain", Barry Guy's "After The Rain", Woody Guthrie, and the Mose Allison recording "My Brain" (something the octagenarian jazzer adapted from the Willie Dixon song, "My Babe").

More from a new CD of Messaien for piano; Ian Wilson's "Devotional"; Miles & Trane together; Ergo's "Sorrows Of The Moon"; the gamelan (featured on Chris Miller's "thinly, roundly…"); a collage for brass band; singer/songwriter Laura Veirs; Jarrett plays Shostakovich; cellist Julia Kent, as well as a band Julia recorded with (Antony & the Johnsons) - just some of the reasons to tune to Saturday's BLUE. And we've also the first of the week's selections chosen by Irish jazz legend Louis Stewart.
