Just before the clocks jump forward an hour, Eamonn presents German singer-songwriter Johanna Borchert; pianistic Granados; Tim Bowness and Peter Chilvers from a release named in honour of a beach in Norfolk; John Metcalfe, from his tribute to "Scorching Bay" near Wellington; Hayden Chisholm (see video), a saxophone player from Auckland; a solo piano piece by Australian-born composer Kate Moore; Argentinian guitarist Pablo Márquez; part of Michael Nyman's "Hillsborough Memorial"; and a 2015 release from Chris Potter Underground Orchestra.

This Friday night, Eamonn links the title track of Sarah McQuaid's new album; Stravinsky's "The Sacrifice"; a young Polish jazz trio led by Marcin Wasilewski (in this, the week of PolskaÉire); a Pixies tune arranged for piano; Hugh Hopper's "Dedicated To You" performed by a saxophone quartet; music by Enrique Granados; John Martyn's "Small Hours" (see video); a slice of contemporary jazz-cum-electronica by Bugge Wesseltoft, Henrik Schwartz and Dan Berglund; the opening movement of a choral work by Nico Muhly; movie music by Loudon Wainwright; Danish singer/songwriter Agnes Obel; and the slow movement of a Martinu concerto for two pianos.

We'll hear a selection from that album tonight; as well as new jazz vibes, courtesy of Rez Abbasi Acoustic Quartet (see video); Irish singer/songwriter Francesca Baines; sacred choral music by C.V. Stanford; keyboard prodigy Beka Gochiashvili, in advance of his trio's live dates in Dublin and Limerick next week; part of a Dvorak string quartet; Sigurdur Flosason, Kjeld Lauritsen, Jacob Fischer and Kristian Leth, from a CD of jazz standards released on Danish label Storyville; more from "Preab Meadar"; and singer/musician Otis Taylor.
